The 2400 is specifically designed for test applications that demand a tight integration of excitation sources and measurement capabilities—tasks requiring a precise voltage source while simultaneously enabling accurate current and voltage measurements. Each SourceMeter combines a highly accurate, low-noise, and ultra-stable DC power supply with back-reading functionality, paired with a low-noise, highly repeatable, and high-input-impedance 5½-digit multimeter, creating a compact, single-channel DC parameter tester. Functionally, it serves as a versatile tool that integrates the capabilities of a voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter into one seamless unit.
