Exceptional spectral purity
The 1465 series signal generator delivers pristine signal spectra, featuring a single-sideband phase noise of -126 dBc/Hz (typical) at a 10 GHz carrier with a 10 kHz frequency deviation, and -142 dBc/Hz (typical) at a 1 GHz carrier under the same conditions. It is ideally suited for applications such as Doppler radar testing, high-performance receiver blocking tests, and adjacent-channel selectivity evaluations, as well as serving as an excellent alternative for local oscillators and low-jitter clock replacements.
Broadband high-power output
The H05 high-power option features typical maximum output powers of +22 dBm at 20 GHz, +20 dBm at 40 GHz, and +10 dBm at 67 GHz. The enhanced H06 high-power option delivers output power up to +30 dBm (1 W). If you require a high-power excitation signal during testing, you can achieve the desired test signal without needing an external amplifier—resulting in higher power accuracy and improved stability.
High-frequency power stability
The output signal exhibits exceptionally high stability in both frequency and power. The time base has an aging rate of ±5 × 10⁻⁸ per year, meaning the 10 MHz high-stability time base drifts by less than 0.5 Hz over the course of one year. In addition to its outstanding output power accuracy, the device also delivers remarkable power stability: after 15 consecutive days of continuous operation under temperature cycling conditions ranging from 0°C to 50°C, the power variation at the same temperature remained below 0.2 dB, with a power-temperature coefficient of less than 0.01 dB/°C.
Flexible large-screen touch operation
A 10.1-inch widescreen LED display with a high resolution of 1280×800 clearly presents instrument status information. Featuring eye-catching color combinations, well-organized functional zones, and intuitive panel buttons for various operations, this device not only delivers a fresh visual experience but also ensures convenient, fast, and efficient operation—helping you boost your testing productivity. In addition to the panel buttons, you can also control the instrument via a rotary knob with a built-in return function, touch-screen gestures (including tapping and swiping), or by connecting an external keyboard and mouse—each method allowing independent operation of the device.
Complete range of frequency bands
The 1465C/D/F/H/L series covers frequency ranges from 100 kHz to 10 GHz, 20 GHz, 40 GHz, 50 GHz, and even up to 67 GHz, offering five distinct model variants. The 1465L model can deliver output frequencies as high as 70 GHz. Each model comes with a wide array of optional accessories that allow for flexible expansion of functionality and performance. Whether you require metrology-grade solutions, basic signal generators, or if your needs span from RF-band test signals all the way to millimeter-wave frequencies, there’s definitely a model perfectly suited to meet your requirements.
High-precision simulation scanning
Featuring full-band, high-precision analog scanning capabilities to meet your needs for rapid scanning in broadband testing. Additionally, it offers step-by-step and list-based scanning functions, providing flexibility to accommodate your diverse testing requirements.
Ultra-high power dynamic range
Featuring a 150dB power dynamic range from -130dBm to +20dBm, it’s the ideal choice for high-sensitivity receiver testing.
Outstanding analog modulation
It features AM, FM, and ΦM capabilities and supports both internal and external modulation source inputs. The FM and ΦM modulation bandwidth ranges from DC to 10 MHz, while AM offers two operating modes—linear and exponential—with linear AM depth exceeding 90%. The built-in modulation signal generator has a frequency range of DC to 10 MHz, with a resolution of 0.1 Hz, and provides 7 different modulation waveforms, enabling direct output of low-frequency signals.
High-performance pulse modulation
Modulation depth exceeds 80 dB, with rise and fall times shorter than 10 ns and a minimum pulse width of 20 ns. It supports multiple triggering modes, including gated and external triggers. Equipped as standard with an internal pulse generator offering 6 distinct pulse modes, the pulse width ranges from 20 ns to 42 seconds in 10-nanosecond steps, fully equipped with the pulse train functionality essential for radar testing applications.
Multiple control and functionality expansion interfaces
It supports multiple auxiliary interfaces, including USB, LAN, GPIB, and a monitor interface. The USB port can be used for data transfer and connecting external keyboards/mice to control the instrument, while LAN and GPIB enable programmable operations. The monitor interface allows for connecting an external display.
